In 2025, we made meaningful progress not only in scaling our technology and operations but also in staying true to what makes our model unique: people-powered, community-driven change.
In an increasingly uncertain funding landscape, as state and federal budget cuts continue to affect critical local programs, we’ve seen grassroots philanthropy step in to fill the gaps.
Our model of crowdfunding matched by local grants–what we call crowdgranting–continues to prove its value in bridging these divides. It ensures that the projects that matter most to community members are not only heard but funded by the very people who care most about their towns, neighborhoods, and cities.
Looking ahead, we remain committed to building not just better technology, but stronger ecosystems of support for changemakers everywhere. We believe in accessible funding, in unlocking local generosity, and in cultivating the capacity of everyday leaders to shape the places they call home.
